PARC Maritime Partners.
What we do
We make regular customer visits on behalf of our overseas clients, and we organise joint visits. This strengthens relationships and it generates valuable information for our clients.
We develop tailor made solutions for our clients, allowing them to reach out at their customers at the right level to maximise their business potential.
When there are issues, or when organisational changes take place, we can act quickly on behalf of our clients to effectively address the situation.
We distribute market information and marketing material to our clients’ customers, making sure it reaches the right customers all the time by keeping an extensive customer database up to date.
We support our clients in specific processes, such as tender procedures or vendor qualifications.
Who are our clients?
Our clients are companies that provide products or services to the shipping industry. They wish to maintain and develop close relationships with a wide range of European customers, without having a physical presence in Europe.
What is the benefit of a commercial representative in Europe?
Europe is home to the world’s largest shipping community. More than 40% of the world’s fleet is owned, controlled or operated by European companies, including many ship management companies.
Since we have deep knowledge of this large market, as our clients’ commercial representative we will amplify our clients’ marketing and sales efforts.
We make communication with customers more effective by bridging time and cultural differences.
The cost of a commercial representative is a small fraction of the cost of an own office, and considerably more efficient.
For shipping companies
We enable easy communication for European shipping companies when dealing with overseas service providers (e.g. agents, bunker suppliers, surveyors) when time differences and language can be an issue. We provide shipping companies with a point of contact close to tackle the uncertainty of dealing with a service provider you are not familiar with.
Support & Advice
In addition to our commercial activities, we are available to provide support and advice on specific projects that a client may have. As an example, we have been retained by clients that require support in connection with M&A projects, such as finding targets or potential buyers, conducting negotiations and managing the M&A process.
